How does my new routine look?

Been getting into advanced full-body training rather than follow a brosplit. Recently I've fallen a bit ill due to the flu, and it's put me out of the gym for a good couple of days. Been training really hard this past month, so I figure a couple days off extra would give me a bit of recovery boost t...

Re: Haven't been on here in forever

Hey Gabriel, good to have you back man. Well you certainly have packed on the beef while still having a nice set of abs. Congratulations to you. Glad to hear you settled into a time proven, method of building real muscle and strength. How long have you been on the Park program? Of course this is th...

Haven't been on here in forever

Thought you guys may like a progress update, a lot of you have remembered me from before Doing Reg Park's "How I trained" 3x a week full body routine has done wonders for me I was 17 when I joined 2 years ago, and now I've just turned 20 (August 12). I'm about to graduate college this year and early...

Update

Sorry I haven't posted recently guys. I was in a accident recently with my motorcycle and I had a bunch of other stressful incidents happen to me, including getting really sick (it's all good though). I realized that a minimalist system with progressive overload is what works best for naturals (of c...

Re: TRAINING LOG FORUM 2016

Been training and following a very sensible split. I found a great balance. Twice a week full-body training, one day for volume and one for intensity, along with 2 days a week doing GPP, kettlebell clean and farmers walks, overhead kettlebell farmers walks, battle ropes and neck curls etc. Got into ...

Re: TRAINING LOG FORUM 2016

I hit my shoulder against something the night before partying :P, not sure what happened but its just a bit of minor irritation and didn't give me any pain at all during my workouts. Got my monster minibands and minibands from elitefts, so I decided to put them to the test on OHP and see how difficu...

Re: TRAINING LOG FORUM 2016

Oh BTW don't get the wrong idea. I don't do all those variations at once, I rotate through them when I start to go stale on certain lifts. I find this keeps me from plateauing or having to "deload" and when I go back to those lifts, I'm stronger than what I was originally :D I believe in minimalist ...

Re: TRAINING LOG FORUM 2016

Sorry for not updating guys. I'll be more in depth now. Can't do consecutive pulls on two days esp. after going heavy on my accessory pull the day before. I've adjusted the trap bar/deadlifts off the floor to front squat & squat variations, less strain on the CNS. What I'm looking at Bulgarian Light...

Re: TRAINING LOG FORUM 2016

Finally found a training method that works for me. Changing up various methods of pressing + pulling and working on areas that I want to specialize. Threw on 35 lbs from May to Nov, but cut down on 9-10 of those lbs. Sitting at 195 lbs lean as of right now. Been rotating exercises each week and hamm...

Re: Louis Abele

Hi guys. Been insanely busy with university. Just checking in here on a post. Was wondering whether following Louis Abele's specialization routines would be a good idea. He has my ideal physique and I would like to mimic his training methods (extreme specialization) in order to gain strength and siz...
