Reg park, speech and posing, Toronto 1988

I hope you enjoy this, I thought the last posing he did was in 1980 Mr Olympia.

Fantastic shape but a even better speech from the great man.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the additional research :) Now we have finally some justice for this overlooked bodybuilder. He was certainly due far more respect than he received.

Re: JOHN LEES

I hope John Lees is still alive and well.. I read this article by Weider about Lee's win in 1957 Mr Universe https://musclememory.com/showArticle.php?mb580616 "In my opinion, based on my knowledge, John Lees is greatly out of proportion. His mid-section is soft, there are pads of fat on each side of...

Re: Oscar Heidenstam "Modern Bodybuilding"

@Tm K.: There are many editions listed on Amazon, with older, early 1960s versions listing D. G. Johnson as co-author. Thanks for that tip! If I search "oscar Heidenstam" the books are listed quite expensively. If I looked up D G Johnson, it seems to slip the sellers notice that the book maybe more...

Hi Mate, sorry, book no longer for sale. goes back into my archives, David Gentle
Its worth far more than a tenner! Thanks for the offer though. If you can recommend it as a book worth having, I will track it down.

Are there any differences between the original and "modern" versions? Thanks

Oscar Heidenstam "Modern Bodybuilding"

Hello, Does anyone have any information or resources about Oscar Heidenstam's "Modern Bodybuilding" book? I can only find a photo of the front cover. modern bodybuilding.jpg I think it was written in the 1980s? Is it about his own training from the 1930's or is it a modern book about routines in the...
