Re: Britain's Strongest Man

Very nice video. I've recently seen a few Britain's Strongest Man on one of the cable sports networks. I was just flipping through the channels and came upon it by accident. But these older videos are great to watch. I could watch them all the time and never get bored. Just like the old WSM from the...

Re: Happy Birthday Jim Duggan

Thank you Peter and Ray. Sorry for the late response. I had a great birthday, and then a long, hot 24 hour shift at work!
Thanks again!

Re: DR.KEN HAS LEFT US.

It is, indeed, a sad time for the Iron Game. I had the pleasure of being a member of Iron Iron Gym in the 90s. And it was an honor to get to know Dr. Ken. My only regret is that I wish I had gotten to know him better than I did, for he was, truly, a remarkable man. His knowledge of Strength, and tra...

As someone whose artistic ability is limited to stick figures, I wholeheartedly agree. He is very talented.

Re: Hello from Long Island, NY

Thanks for the warning about Peter, although he is always welcome in my home. I'll just have to have plenty of food around! Not a problem, I take the same precautions for when my brother-in-law comes over. He's a big eater, too ( you step on his foot, and his mouth opens, kind of like a trash can!) ...

Re: Hello from Long Island, NY

I've been called many things over the years, however, "hacksaw" never realky stuck. It seems only wrestling- or I should say 'rassling- fans make the connection. Back when I was competing in Powerlifting, when the announcer would announce my name, I think there were some people in the crowd who expe...

Re: BACK TO THE BENCH

Hi Peter. Are you still using the same rep scheme? I always used to avoid high reps. And warm-ups used to consist of one light set. Now, for the heavier movements at least, I do an extensive warm-up. Just getting the blood flowing, and the area warm allows me to train hard, and not have to worry abo...
