Re: The mystery of Charley Hackenschmidt

Daryll, thanks for the interesting post and question.I feel as Richie does that his aim was to cash in on the name. Of course in this day and age it would not be possible with instant access to a person's information.Playing the smaller venues would most likely be easier to get away with such claims...

Re: Which physical culturists were vegetarian?

This topic is getting over heated. While we can all agree to disagree there is no value in rudeness and name calling to get a point across. We are supposed to be responsible adults and above such things. The topic could be an interesting one,not to change another's opinion or view point but to open ...

Re: Forum Etiquette

Richie, i am in agreement that we need to be more respectful in our communication on this forum. There is no place for rudeness and as you say the point can be made without attacking a certain individual. I may chose to disagree with someone but unless that person has been downright insulting then t...

Re: full body

David and Tom, i have been following this "conversation" and agree that there is no need to continue with it. As you so rightly say David this is a place were supportive and helpful dialogue should be taking place.Yes we all have our own opinions and we all have our own blind spots.Knowing you perso...

Re: Octogenarian update

Sad to report the loss of one of my octogenarian friends and sometime training partner Kev Fitzgerald. Kev and i would train together whenever i visited the UK and he could still kick my butt in his 80s. A few weeks ago he found out he had late stage lung cancer related to working with asbestos. He a...

Re: full body

Ray was trained by Don for a while and he wrote about some of his routines in his book which you can buy from him for about 5 euro. He also may have some of the courses but you need to ask him.
Regards,Peter.
