Re: Ric Drasin passed

Ric's health went south a bit since his congestive heart failure scare a couple years back, didnt look well in his most recent videos.
Seemed like a great guy, may he rest in peace...

Re: CBD thread

I bought a couple of bottles of CBD oil for Sleep, and it does help. (CBD Distillery). Probably wont re-buy since its pricey, and the powder I use at night works better. (Primeval EAA Sleep w/ EAA's, a gram of GABA, and 2.5 mg of Melatonin). I did notice a sort of "pain-numbing" effect, but it needs...

Re: Gaining muscle in later years

In full agreement w/ Ray here. As we age, we shrink/atrophy, hormones decline, etc. (Normal aging process). If a newb started training at age 60 say, and upped his calories big-time, I think muscle can be built as they may not have had much before that. (Though, not a smart/healthy thing to do IMO)....

Re: Who were the oldest physical culturists that ever lived?

Yup, was going to mention Fred (thanks for doing so Peter) a very unique guy who trained right up to his sudden death. Was in the gym w/ him daily for many years, used to go to PL meets with him, etc. https://www.eagletribune.com/news/new_hampshire/legacy-of-strength-local-strongman-dies-at-age-95/a...

Re: Happy birthday Dave Hartnett

Thanks Peter (and all) working today, might do something on the weekend now that outdoor eating is allowed. My hobbies outside the house are the beach, and going for wings (or similar), or pizza, etc.
Thankfully we can start to do that stuff again...
