Re: DEAR STICKS

Chris is a big miss. So helpful, so un-selfish, so talented, so funny, so genuine, a treasure of knowledge. I shall treasure his Mario Lanza tshirt print he made me forever. I think of him every time i do the "Stick Hangs" - hanging from pull up bar at end of workouts.

Hanging from a bar

Can i propose we change the name of this exercise please? As Chris was always recommending it, i will now call it " Sticks Hangs". Or " Sticks Holds". Any opinions? Thanks,Colin.

Re: training Log Forum 2019

Re: training Log Forum 2019

Thanks Peter. Friday. Woke up way before the alarm clock, thinking about Chris. So just got up and went into my shed. Did shoulders and arms. Plus wiped up the leaks of water that got in due to heavy rain. Been getting back into Hanna Somatics, and using Martha Petersons dvd. In recent weeks, maybe ...

Re: Sticks has left us.I

Still feeling very, very sad about Chris. I was re-reading some emails we exchanged. I was very fond of him, and its very hard to take in. Hard to believe, it still feels like a bad dream. I can count on one hand the people in my lifetime who really believed in me. Who really spurred me on, with not...

Re: training Log Forum 2019

Yesterday i was away for the day so got the chance to visit a gym, about 45 mins from home. I was very pleased with its facilities. Everything there that a muscleman or powerlifter could ever want. No wonky incline benches, no dodgy dumbbells, and well maintained machines. Plenty of plates. One thin...

Re: training Log Forum 2019

Tuesday Another less than stellar workout on pinch. Hmm. Yet the leg workout from hell yesterday was that brutal my hips ached in the evening. It started out with a super easy warm up and then I hit the wall on the heavy stuff. The only other difference to my routine was a short early-ish visit to ...
