The eulogies were beautiful. Difficult to hold back the tears. It's hard to believe David is no longer with us. He was an extraordinary person and will be sadly missed by us all. His amazing writings will live on.

It is with deep sadness that I join you all in your heartfelt sentiments about David. He was the best of the best, a wonderful friend and an extraordinary historian.
