Re: Hey friends...
...Long time, no see. I'm sorry for my lengthy absence and just disappearing without a word, I'm not even sure when the last time I posted was. To try to keep a long story short and without going into too much detail, I've dealt with major depression for years and it started to get bad towards the ...

Re: W. A. Pullum Patent Barbell
In case there's anyone who's unsure of who Steve Reeves' mate is seen in profile in the last posting, it's George Eiferman Mr America 1948.
Here he is full frontal and scrutinising Mae West who's in the grip of Dick Dubois Mr America 1954.

Re: W. A. Pullum Patent Barbell
Recently picked up a bronze Camberwell Weightlifting Club medal made by Fattorini & sons shown here. I don't know what the ribbon would have looked like which is a bit of a pity. I'm aware of a gold medal allegedly once belonging to one of the stars at the club. Owner wants a 4 figure sum for it whi...

I have read various accounts and seen differing evidence of whats good and bad re eating eggs. When kids out in the wild countryside i lived, we did eat some of the larger wild bird...

… his CWLC discs? From studying the photographs of WAP lifting I would say not. Almost all of the discs I possess had been painted including the set I bought in 1959. I suspect that whilst some of the very early users of CWLC kit may have painted the discs most of the paintwork has been applied over...

SLOGGING A.K.A FLOGGING SPANNER.jpg Joe Price Flogging Wheelbarrows 1929.png Hi All The sledgehammer which Joe Price is using in the photo supplied by Danny Boy looks to me like a slogging hammer also known as a flogging hammer. Such hammers were once widely used to hit slogging spanners to persuad...
