I am not entirely sure if you could call it a pastime or not, but since 2015 I have become very interested in what we Brits call "living history" which I believe is called "Renaissance Faires" in the United States, with the only caveat being that we don't have that many in Wales so I have to improvise where possible at local community events such as our community's carnival in August where I shall be debuting my Stuart persona Henri de Ceredigion who has aspirations to become a Musketeer.

Reading but in terms of time spent by I enjoy taking photographs of our local scenery (inc birds, animals and insects). After that local history (more so since I hit 50 and as I explore the area with my camera).

My main hobby is birdwatching. I have been birding for approx 30yrs. I used to play guitar, but these days are just wall ornaments which get dusted occasionally....
