Hi guys , haven't posted in a couple days. But did workouts. Saturday was full body starting out with standing press. Then yesterday I got this new attachment for my Total Gym. Its like an EZ Curl bar--which adds a whole new dimension to the exercises,,I love it,,much better than the individual pullys.

Ok, so i will start posting poundages so its easier to see,,Don't judge lol,,its all relative. Im almost 51, 5'10 1/2 and 200 lbs. Kind of solid. Done mostly Bodybuilding workouts with some heavy training thrown in at times. Strong to some people,,but probably thousands or millions of people strong---but in my opinion its relative

so this morning. --made all desired reps (which is nice)
1. Seated Military Press 11 sets. 65 lbs x8, 80x6, 95x3. 107.5lbs x 5 sets of 2. dropped weight to 80 lbs 3 sets of 6
2. Standing Triceps Bar Tricep Ext. 45lbs x 8,7,6,6

took exactly 30 min---Happy made all desired reps---doing that kind of makes my day.,,Now next seated press day will have 107.5 x 3,3, 2,2,2 and 80 or 82.5 3x 5-6

Tomorrow will probably be Total Gym Upper Body (Because I Love that EZ Bar!!!)

I have been slacking on my Exercise bike---blame it on the Facebook always talking throw cardio to the curb (sad lol)

maybe this afternoon Bike 20 min

Regards,Peter.
The lower weights are in 2.5-kilo jumps. They also added a small set of chrome dumbbells are in 1-kilo jumps. The bigger ones are rarely used. I could probably name the fellas that could myself ha ha. By way of example the 50-kilo discs I helped buy are looking dusty lol

Happy Hump Day lol,
Yesterday I Did Upper Body on my Total Gym with the new EZ bar. Mostly Back, biceps, Triceps--Not sure you want to hear details of the TG,,and it was alot of sets in 30 min--I basically do Rest Pause on every exercise,,just counting until 10 then squeeze out a few reps,,then maybe 10 again.

Today I did:
1. Seated Military Press simaliar to Monday--made all wanted reps: 11 sets. 65lbs x8, 80x 6, 95 x3,,,then 5 sets working weight 107.5 x 3,3,2,2,2 reduced weight this time to 82.5 lbs and got 3 x6 (happy bout that and this)
2. DB Flat Bench 5 sets: 30 lbs (2x10 warm up), 33lbs x10,8,8
3. Incline DB Bench 3 sets 33lbs x 7,7,6

4, Exercise Bike 20 min.

Total Time 65 min.

Time to relax now,,whew

I also have a Total Gym. Pretty good piece of equipment. I have the XLS model which I understand is one of the higher end models. The TG definitely has its uses but is limited on what you can do for lower body. I have the supplemental bar that goes thru those holes at the bottom of the unit and I've put barbell plates on it before but it just doesn't feel stable enough to handle too much weight on it. Upper body work on this machine is no joke. It can be quite deceiving!

That EZ bar attachment sounds great! I tend to use the machine for certain exercises like seated fly type movements, pullovers, back exercises and triceps work. About once a week I use it to do curls. I mix it in with my kettlebell and weight training workouts.

As of late I've been on a kettlebell swing kick again and am fast approaching 300+ swings a workout.

Ys, It seems like I can'T Squat anymore (not sure if forever). But I get good stimulation from Leg Ext, Leg Curls, and Single leg squats on the TG--I like those..2 legs is like zero--i can do endless reps with 2 legs--but I have been doing kind of a "jump" squats thats kinda cool. I don't have the bar for added weight. I have the 1900 (I only spent $400 a couple years ago for it. I wish I had the bar, you would have to alter it to use a bar I guess. But right now Im not at the very top so ways to go. And a way around that is to do rest pause , only resting 10 sec between the set--you don't need much resistance to get effect doing it like that. My current routine is alternating presses one day, then TG Upper Body the next (which is mostly Back, Biceps and Triceps), then Leg Day (Leg Ext, Leg Curl, single leg squat, single calf raise) thrown in here and there. Deadlifts after Military Presses on saturday,,I like it (I try to do my exercise bike 20 min after lifting). I Have 2 KBs I should use them again (maybe in the winter lol), just a 25 lb and a 35lb I think
