Hi Steve. I would like to know what you think about the use of sports nutrition in sports. I have been training in the gym for about 2 years and I am gaining weight very slowly. I came across this article on the Internet https://pharmahgh.org/hgh-blog/effect-o ... trainings/ about the effects of growth hormone during training and I was very interested. I would like to know what you think about HGH, thanks in advance.

@dassaheza: I can't speak for Steve, however generally speaking, in terms of real Physical Culture, using drugs can in no way be considered "sports nutrition." Physical Culture is about doing training, and nutrition, naturally.

Hi Dassaheza, While there have been those who have taken various types of drugs to enhance performance through the course of Strength training history and while there may even be members of the forum who take or have taken PEDs, it is subject we avoid on this forum.Like Talbot says Physical Culture is the cultivation of Strength, ability and vibrant health obtained by correct means of exercise, nutrition and balanced lifestyle, all done naturally. I know there are many forums out there who have active drug talk be we prefer not to.Thanks for you participation in forum and for your understanding.

I'll address a few points. GH and it's use cannot and should never be considered 'sports nutrition'. Nutrition is food. GH is a hormone and so is a drug. I'm a mod on other forums and that includes answering questions about drug use. Actual sports nutrition does, in my opinion, have it's place.
I would also agree with Peter that by its every definition Drugs and PC do not mix. It is, again of course, a matter of fact that many champions (all the way back) may well have used steroids and also took extreme measures to create their strength and physiques. That's true of any high end athlete. After all running 26 miles, as in a marathon, isn't jogging lol
