Not a thing until the new members realize the two leggy , buxom
drop dead beautiful assistants were there ONLY for the sign up at
the fern club and were back down jockeying wings @ Hooter's when
the ink was dry .

Flex gym in Syracuse is the only surviving old school weight room
in the zip code . Late 60s-early 70s there were 4-5 dozen hardcore
mainstream gyms and another dozen "key clubs"...

Yesterday my old mate Lou Pontillo came by for a workout.Lou is down from Maine visiting family for the 4th of July weekend and usually makes time to come over and see me.I have spent a lot of my time training alone, but there are a few people who i enjoy training with as they go in the gym to work as hard as possible and save the talking till later. Lou is one of those people. He has been training most of his life and has engaged in hard physical labor.A tough man, trained in wrestling, judo,Karate and several Chinese martial arts with real world combat experience, 5' 9" and 220lb of muscle .Even though it was hot as Hades with high humidity we still did a good warmup to prepare for what was to come. Only the first exercise, TBDL, had rest time, all the following exercises were done with minimum rest between sets, I went first and Lou followed until completed. All movements done slowly and strictly to failure.
TBDL 2sets 1x25, add weight 1x12
Weighted dips alternated with supinated pull downs
1arm DB press alternated with hammer curl
Weighted Ab wheel roll outs
Front neck raise
Wrist roller
Collapse LOL.
Great session and then we had a good catch up over a whole milk, Greek yogurt and whey protein smoothie. God training partners are few and far between and thankfully i have a few that i can always have a good session with.
Regards,Peter.
