bar forcefully in the fully contracted position . Trying to make all upper back
muscles standout including Christmas treeing the lower back and horse shoeing
the triceps . 2 sets of 12-15 reps inserted in a push/pull routine .

With all due respect Sticks, unless you have herniated discs in your neck, you have no idea what you're talking about. My neck is not fragile Sticks. That's what helped me from being more seriously injured in my accident, but it doesn't negate the fact that placing a band around one's neck, where herniated discs might be located, while trying to maintain that position, and while also doing pushups, causes me pain. Stick to drawing and exercise information and lay off the medical advice of that which you do not know, Sir. You just need to "stay in your lane" on this one Sticks. added weight . If your neck and upper carriage are that fragile , then you shouldn't be resistance training

Advice taken and I suggest you do the same . Every time you rack a squat or
are at the tail end of a set of heavy benches you put vastly more pressure on
your neck then what I pictured in the band push-up . Repositioning of the band
was mentioned a couple of posts ago and you have a good point if the level of
herniation has a resistance band directly above it . I've included tips in the past
with you in mind as the primary beneficary .Will I cease and desist ? Hell no , it's
always up to trainee discretion to use the info or not . Best Regards Sticks
