Clint Walker

Sad to see Clint Walker has died at the age of 90. While looking at a few videos of the big man I came across this which I thought would be fun to share:

He seems to have been a lovely and well-liked man, which is the best legacy to leave, but he had a hell of a look to him too!

Supposedly his character died off screen in the Dirty Dozen because his fans wouldn't have wanted to see him die.

A class act all the way.

Cheyenne was my childhood hero! My absolutely most favorite Cowboy!

Some years back the Western Channel showed Cheyenne reruns. I watched them religiously.

I just loved Clint aka Cheyenne, he came over as a guest with John Grimek one year to the NABBA Universe show and handed out the prizes, not sure which year? but he was a lovely man, quiet spoken but so impressive. Writing this on a hotel computer, so hope it gets through down to see my grand son in Bristol. where he took a couple of pix of me in his garden, so to give you guys some amnuition heres the pix, see he has caught my "femine" side and also the fact i need a shave. but when you get to 84 it becomes a chore. Sorry to hear about Clint.A man's man if ever there was one. Only ever heard good things about him and he was one of my early inspirations. May he rest easy in the big prairie in the Sky. BTW he like others of his generation trained pretty much up until he passed.
Regards,Peter.
