Not yet Danny I am still admiring them sitting on my kitchen table! I did try to close them but you can guess my success :oops:

That's alright Colin, one of the good things about the spring-grip dumbbells is you can adjust their difficulty by removing/adding springs. So if you're not able to close them with all 5 springs, just remove however many springs you need to close 'em and then begin working your way up to being able to close them with all 5 springs. :)
