Thats a great issue, was just going to dig it out for Peter when i see DAve also found it, thats the beauty of our "gang"...buddies, mates, we see that Willoughby credits ole Henry with 33 reps squts with 315lbs and made a single with 553lbs, sure current guys do more, but dont get the bar up there unaided like Steinborn. His son was a wrestlers in his own right in later days. Back to the MILO cover, it shows Anderson and Stienborn in his later days with a giant dumbell. great shot. Look forward to seeing what Peter does with the feature. David Gentle

Re: MILO-VOL1,ISSUE1 1993 request
Hi David, well what started out as a short piece on training in Australian internment camps has grown decidedly much longer. After speaking with you and Jan Todd i realized there had to be some narrative about the Turner movement in pre- WW1 Australia to give a better understanding of what developed in the camps as far as Physical Culture is concerned. I have had help and input from several people including yourself, Jan Todd, Dave Hartnett and Laurie Smith so now i have to weave it all together in a way that is hopefully interesting and enjoyable to the reader.
Regards,Peter.
