Mancunian Acquisition -More

Postby Handson » Wed Aug 29, 2018 8:12 am

I tried to answer Stick's remark on the 'Mancunian Acquisition' topic but couldn't due to this message which popped up:- "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached" came up.

What's that all about?

This is what I attempted to say.

Hi Sticks

I now see what you mean about Reg Park plates being sought after.

I've noticed a couple of RP plates for sale and tried to attach pics but the message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached" came up. What's that all about?

One seller was asking £50 for a 5Lb RP plate.

Another was asking £100 for a 35Lb RP plate.

You've got some nice plates there . Very functional and worth a pretty penny
to many . I never collected or maintained much more then I needed . I found
the value in the function .There are collecters out there that will pay big bucks
for the ancient iron . I saw on ebay a pair of old 50# Jackson plates going for
$750.00 . For this price you can score an entire garage gym rig (310# Olympic,
squat stand , flat bench .) The Reg Parks do sybolize the hayday of bodybuilding.
Very nice score ...
